Baba Ramdev's Patanjali was slapped with a fine of ₹11 lakhs by a local court in Haridwar for "misbranding and putting up misleading advertisements" of their products.

A Haridwar court has fined Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved Rs.11 lakh on charges of misbranding and misrepresentation of its products. It must pay the amount within a month. The firm has been found guilty of “releasing misleading advertisements by selling some products with its labels though they were being manufactured by other firms“. Samples of its honey , salt, mustard oil, fruit jam and besan also failed quality tests
